Well in the past the number 13 has been my
Favorite / Lucky number. My sister mentioned to me today that it was Friday the 13th and I replied with "Doesn't bother me 13 is my good day" With that said my sis Karly, my dear friend Morgan and I decided to go get some DELICIOUS cupcakes from Ann Olivia's Sweet Shop in Hernando, MS. www.annolivias.com Its the home of the glittered cupcake. I have to say, the cupcakes were FANTASTIC!!! Boston Cream and Cheesecake were my personal favorite. Not only were the cupcakes great but the owners and employees there were sincerely some of the friendliest and nicest people I have met. I wish the best for them. I will return just for the simple fact I enjoy spending time there. They make me SMILE!!!

We ran into a goodwill and decided we would go in...Nothing else to do, WHY NOT? Us 3 girls browsing around looking at hideous shoes and some terrible pieces of clothing that NO one should ever wear. Some of the funny items we found....

Us girls decide to get back home relax and just hang out for a little bit before we go out tonight...We're in the car laughing, talking about clothes and cupcakes, making fun of each other. Our drive was great with great view of the country side. When all of a sudden my car makes a strange noice, battery light comes on and I instantly say awwww man this is sucky...oh well I guess I will have to get it checked out. I start to break for a stop sign ahead and now I realize my power steering is off....WHAT? I stop at the stop sign, my car is off...hmmmm how did that happen? So I go to start my car......Uhhhhhh NO ITS DEAD!!!! Wont start, wont do anything? What am I supposed to do? 3 Girls and we know NOTHING about cars!!!! We're STUCK!!! So we get out of the car and it was 118 degrees outside....SERIOUSLY?? Uggg We're sweating in a matter of minutes, 3 different guys try to help and all 3 guys have different ideas of whats wrong with my car....I DON'T CARE....get my girls, me and my car home! I call my husband and my dad. I finally figure out how AAA works and we get rescued 2 hours later. I have more pictures to post up of this wonderful day but here are a couple of them...
We all got home safely, we're all tired and my poor car is broken...Positive thing, sitting in 118 weather for 2 hours and sweating like that, I had to have lost some weight right? :D

ReplyDeleteYour AAA mention is a bit understated... then I wouldn't expect you to know how your dad had to physically get out of the shower two times. How he had to go to his car dripping wet to get his AAA card, then make a call to AAA to get his daughters membership number because she doesn't carry her card with her. How he had to get out of the shower again to call AAA to find out why she only got a 3 mile tow... run out to his car again dripping wet to get his wallet to make a payment on a membership that expired two days earlier. Needless to say, his shower psychically took 1 1/2 hours to complete not to mention all the water that had to be cleaned up off the floor. After all that, and the fact that your dad is only 1800 miles away... all you can saw is"I finally figure out how AAA works and we get rescued 2 hours later" Give me a break PAALEZE!!!

Well Dad, you did get me to laugh. I didn't realized you were going out to the truck and all that mess. But I did give you a ton of kudos in the family post, on the other hand I believe your comment fixes all the information I left out! Thank you again dad, Love you!
